GuideAway Terms of Service

1. The service

GuideAway is an app with educational walking routes on a map. Observation questions unlock with GPS (about 150 m) or Trust mode. The app is not a mountain guide, turn-by-turn navigation or an emergency service.

You need an account (email or Google / Apple). We record that you accepted these terms and the privacy policy. You can delete the account in the app.

2. Price

Download and routes are currently free. There is no subscription.

3. Use

You use the app outdoors at your own risk and in line with the law. You do not enter private or dangerous land. You must not break security, scrape the service or impersonate others. We may suspend an account for serious breach.

App content and maps are protected. We grant a non-exclusive licence to use the app on your device. You may not copy or redistribute them beyond private use in the app.

4. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. We do not guarantee uninterrupted servers or GPS accuracy. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for terrain, decisions based only on the app, or failure of your device.

Nothing here limits your mandatory EU consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by intent or gross negligence.

5. Complaints

support@guideaway.app — description, account email, OS (iOS/Android). We reply within 14 days. Consumers may also use the competent ombudsman or the European Commission ODR platform.

6. Apple and Google

The contract is with the provider, not Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app’s content, support or related claims, except where the law says otherwise. Support: support@guideaway.app. On iOS, Apple’s terms also apply; on Android, Google Play. Apple may rely on these disclaimers as a third-party beneficiary (Apple’s requirement).

7. Law

Polish law, without taking away the mandatory protection of your EU country of residence. Consumer disputes follow consumer-protection rules.
