How to delete your GuideAway account

You can delete your GuideAway account yourself in the app. If you can no longer open the app, write to us and we will delete it for you.

In the app

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm.

Your account, profile, avatar, access to routes and all progress are deleted immediately. The action cannot be undone.

Without the app

Write to support@guideaway.app from the email address of the account, with the subject “Delete account”. We complete the request within 14 days — the same period as complaints in the Terms.

What is kept

Only what the law requires us to keep — for example while a dispute is open. Technical logs and error reports (Sentry) are normally kept for up to 90 days, as described in the Privacy policy.

GuideAway has no subscriptions, so there is nothing to cancel before deleting your account.
